Imagining Eliza, Charleston, SC artist Chambers Austelle interprets Charleston's most elusive face, Eliza Lucas Pinckney

Honored and excited to participate in Imagining Eliza: “10 Artist Interpretations of Colonial Charleston’s Most Elusive Face.”

Because no portraits of Eliza have survived, these 10 creatives will present their own images of her, up for silent auction during an evening of wine and light hors d’oeuvres at The George Gallery in Charleston, SC.

The Pinckney Project is a fundraiser of the restoration and preservation of The Charleston Museum‘s Eliza Luca Pinckney 18th Century Sack Back Gown.
